The Basics of Dumpster Rental

Pricing

Prices for dumpsters vary widely based on location, county and material. Prices frequently change based on the current fuel price, disposal costs and activity in the recycling markets. When you call for a dumpster quote, we will give you the lowest rate available to suit your needs.

Overages

The price you are quoted for your dumpster will include delivery, removal and disposal, up to your tonnage limit. If your disposal is more than your tonnage limit, you will be charged, on a prorated basis, for the additional weight.

The amount you will be charged per ton varies by state and county. This overage amount will be disclosed to you prior to your order. Please review our complete Terms and Conditions for additional information.

Delivery and Removal

It is very important to make sure that you will be able to receive the dumpster when it arrives. If the dumpster is going in your driveway, make sure there are no cars blocking it. If it is going in the street, make sure that you have your permit in place, and that no cars are blocking the area. Alert us to any overhead wires that may complicate the delivery. If we are unable to deliver the dumpster due to blockage or lack of space, there will be a "wasted trip fee". This fee will vary by State and County, and will be disclosed to you prior to your order. Please review our complete Terms and Conditions for additional information.

Please watch the below video for a better understanding of how your dumpster will be delivered, and the amount of free space that is needed. Every truck is different, but this video gives a good example as to what to expect when your dumpster is delivered:

Prohibited Materials

Be sure to discuss with your sales representative what you plan on placing into the dumpster. There are several materials that can not be disposed of in a dumpster for environmental and safety reasons. There will be additional charges for prohibited materials. Here is a partial list of materials that should never be placed in your dumpster: Electronics (televisions, electronics, etc.). Freon Containing Appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.). Paints, Solvents or an Corrosive Liquid. Tires. Batteries. Fuel. Toxic Materials. Asbestos.

The driver will inspect your dumpster before he or she removes it. If they discover prohibited materials, they will leave the dumpster in place and you will be charged a wasted trip fee.

A full list of prohibited materials can be found in our Terms and Conditions

Delivery Tips:

1) Keep your driveway / container delivery area clear. The truck will need some room to maneuver when placing the container.

2) Check overhead! Its easy to forget that low hanging wires can interfere with the delivery.

3) Have some scrap wood available to place under the container wheels. This will protect your driveway.
